Immediately prior to founding CSSI, Survey Coordinator for Freeman and Vaughn Engineering (now known as Stevenson and Palmer Engineering, Inc.) Duties included daily supervision of 2 survey crews, direct interaction with property owners, survey clients, closing attorneys, mortgage officers, officials of municipalities, and construction contractors. Responsible for planning, scheduling and supervising numerous construction projects. Professional certification of survey plats and FEMA Elevation Certificates. Liaison between FVE Survey Department and both in-house and other engineering departments. Extensive use of AutoCad. Other positions held include Survey Technician, Survey Party Chief, Field Engineer, Rodman and Instrument man. Combined duties included compilation of gathered field data to produce finished plats and drawings. Preparation of layout information (staking points and grades) for all construction projects. Also experienced with quantity surveys, wetland surveys, construction control surveys, and hydrographic surveys using a Raytheon Survey Fathometer. Performed field management of construction projects. Worked on Talmadge Bridge Project while employed with The Hardaway Company. Broad array of layout and as-built surveying ranging from initial layout of footer foundation pilings up to finished deck. Daily interaction with foremen of all crafts.
